Happy Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

There is so much to be thankful for this year!

• The alarm that goes off in the early morning hours because it means that I have somewhere to go, or something to do.
• Occasionally my clothes are a little too snug because it means that I have enough to eat.
• The lawn that needs mowing, the carpet that needs vacuuming, and the windows that need washing because it means I have a place to live.
• I have to pay taxes, and that I am tired at the end of the workday because it means that I have a job. 
• I live in the United States of America because it means that I have freedom that others only dream about
• I have the luxury to be able to attend higher education
• I have friends and family that love me

Busy!

I feel like i have never been busier! between classes and sorority initiation and exams things are crazier than ever! although i cant say i mind, i will be happy when the semester is over and everyone (including teachers!) can have a long, much needed break. The first semester of college has been intgeresting, had its ups and downs, and been full of surprises but i have enjoyed it none the less!

If everyone chose to live like this our society would be completely different. People wouldn't make rash, unthoughtful decisions and people would be much more satisfied.

Help!

 ~Ask for help when you need it. Accept help when it is offered. Offer help when you see it is needed. Provide help when it is requested.

I think this phrase is powerful because so often people are afraid or do not want to ask for help, or even offer help. If everyone wuld live by this phrase we all would be so much better off and live in a much more pleasant society!

Fall Break!

Fall break is this weekend and i am so super excited! i am going home to knoxville to see my friends and family and i cant wait! its going to be a fun weekend of fun, rest, and relaxation with pumkin carving and haunted houses! although i like school (somewhat) i am so ready to go home and be with everyone i miss so much!

Step Show

Homecoming is this week and Thursday is Step Show. I am so excited to watch my Delta Zeta sisters perform. I am in charge of their music and lights and am so excited to be able to help them. They have a freat routine and awesome costumes and music. This is our first year as an organization and competeing in Homecoming activities. Hopefully we'll do well!

this statement has gotten me through alot in my life. every time i think i cant do something or i will fail at it i think that i will never know without trying. you should try everything at least once. it makes life much more intersting and fun!
